Summer holidays have either started or are fast approaching for most of you, so we are making some preparations for the recent influx of players we’ve had!
Firstly, I am incredibly excited to announce that we have doubled our server’s RAM to 4GB for the next six months (and we will hopefully continue it indefinitely depending on donations). Thank you so much to everyone who has donated to help the server out – thanks to you, we will be increasing out player limit from 40 to 60, and we will be able to provide a smoother, more lag-free experience for you all!
As another means of preparing for the summer, we have taken on additional staff.
ZachyZach has been promoted to Admin – you will now be able to come to him with most concerns, including fixing your spawners, as well as catching hackers.
We would also like you to welcome our two new mods – ValidAlchemist and iMinecraftianz!
Feel free to ask them for help and report any rule breaking behaviour to them.
Lastly, a few glitches have recently come to our attention, and we would like to make you aware of them:
- Donator rank changes to voter when player votes:
This was caused by a glitch with our old permissions plugin – PermissionsX. To remedy this problem, DMH has implemented a new permissions plugin – LuckPerms, which has fixed the issue! Due to changing to the new plugin, some players’ ranks have been temporarily removed. This should be fixed now, but if your rank is gone, please let any of the staff know and we will promptly fix it. In summary – you can now vote without losing your Donator rank!
- Sometimes player’s points reset to 0:
This is DMH’s custom plugin, and he has added a new command which you can use if your points somehow get reset. Do /pointsfix and your points will be returned to you. Alternatively, let any of our staff know and DMH will fix the problem.
- Spawners occasionally change into pig spawners:
This should also hopefully be fixed. If your spawner transforms into a pig spawner, DMH, Zach or Petchy can fix it for you, and we will continue to try to prevent it from happening in the first place.
Thank you for your continued support and we hope you enjoy this summer on MozartRealms!
